Student Ministries Volunteer Information


Thanks for taking the time to consider volunteering in 3Crosses Student Ministries. Having the right people in the
right place makes all the difference! The motto for student ministry leaders is 1 Corinthians 11:1. Paul
said, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” That is exactly what we hope you
can be as a student ministry leader – an example of a life transformed though following Christ.
Look through the following information to see if you’d be a good fit as a volunteer.

20/20 Leader (middle School)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish relationships with students
  • Participate in and help support activities (worship, preaching & activities)
  • Lead students to connect in community• Ask questions and lead conversations to help students understand the lesson
  • Model godliness
  • Ask questions and lead conversations to help students understand the lesson

TIME REQUIREMENTS

  • Tuesdays 6:00pm – 9:30pm
  • Sundays 9:45am - 11am
  • Monthly - Staff meeting once every other month on Sunday

 

Omega leader (High School)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish relationships with students
  • Participate in and help support activities (worship, preaching & activities)
  • Lead students to connect in community• Ask questions and lead conversations to help students understand the lesson
  • Model godliness
  • Ask questions and lead conversations to help students understand the lesson

TIME REQUIREMENTS

  • Wednesday 6:45pm – 9:30pm
  • Sundays 9:45am - 11am
  • Monthly - Staff meeting once every other month on Sunday

Do you meet the requirements to be a deacon (servant) of the church? The requirements of a servant/deacon in 1 Timothy 3:8-11 In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything. A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well. Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.
